Chef's Dinner: Chef Jody Adams & Chef George Mendes

On Wed/July 12th from 6:30-9pm, Michelin-starred chef George Mendes and James Beard winning chef Jody Adams, with Porto Executive Chef Amarilys Colon, will join forces at Porto in Back Bay for a special one-night only collaboration celebrating their highly-anticipated restaurant openings at Raffles Boston, the brand’s North American flagship property, set to open in late Summer 2023. George looks forward to returning to his New England roots and joining the Boston community to lead the culinary program at Raffles Boston and open the hotel’s signature restaurant, Amar, later this summer and Jody looks forward to opening her new venture, La Padrona, at Raffles Boston this winter. To celebrate George’s recent move and their upcoming openings at Raffles Boston, George and Jody will co-host a dynamic evening on Porto’s patio, complete with passed cocktails & canapes, a four course collaborative dinner blending the best of George’s Portuguese fare and Jody’s coastal Italian fare, curated wine pairings and special takeaway items. A portion of proceeds benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank, supporting the fight against food insecurity in Eastern Massachusetts.
